Superconnected Cities

UPDATE for October 2015: The Superconnected Cities scheme is now closed for new applications.  Stickman was a major supplier for this incentive and we continue to supply and install new customers who were successful in applying for vouchers.

Stickman Technology is a registered supplier to the BDUK SuperConnected Cities Voucher scheme.

The Scheme invites Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Homeworkers to apply for a voucher from any one of 22 participating cities in the UK which can then be used to fund or part fund the one off connection cost of between £250 up to £3000 when you purchase a super-fast connectivity service.

The Scheme can also be used for multi-tenanted applications, which is our speciality.  Multiple tenants in the same building can join together to apply for multiple vouchers, allowing a large pool of funding with which to invest in a building’s connectivity.

The Voucher Scheme covers the following 22 Superconnected Cities: Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bradford, Brighton and Hove, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Derry/Londonderry, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Newport, Oxford, Perth, Portsmouth, Salford, York.

To check if you are eligible, please visit https://www.connectionvouchers.co.uk/eligibility/

This is usually enough to pay for most if not all of the up-front connection costs and as it’s a grant you won’t have to pay it back. You just pay the VAT, any amount over £3,000, and the monthly connection subscription cost.

This funding can only be used for the connection itself; it won’t subsidise or pay for any monthly charges; it will only pay for the installation of a super-fast connectivity service.

We would be pleased to provide a quote on any of our super-fast connectivity products and services to those businesses who have applied for a voucher from one of the participating cities.

The scheme is connectivity technology allowing for speeds of between 30Mbps up to 1Gbps. If you are tenant or landlord of a multi-tenanted building or business park and you require improved internet bandwidth you can use this scheme to provide services that can be shared by all tenants.
