Citibase is a rapidly growing serviced office provider. Its most recent addition in London Victoria’s Palace Street is testament to its focus on growth in great locations. With London property in high demand it was essential that a best in class connectivity solution was delivered in a very limited time frame to get this centre open.
MESH by Stickman takes this delivery in its stride. The new Citibase addition was quickly integrated in our cloud portal alongside its sister properties. Using our proprietary technology we easily integrated with temporary 4G internet lines and provided a seamless transition to permanent connectivity when it was later installed. Our MESH Voice VOIP phone system was live in a few clicks and our highly trained installation staff then deployed over 300 connected points in a couple of hours on-site to have it fully operational for centre staff to use.

The Old Hall Hotel in Buxton is the oldest hotel in England, a grade 2 listed building, its charter and charm are only strengthened by its extensive history. Its age though doesn’t excuse it from today’s travellers’ thirst for connectivity and internet access. The Old Hall hotel needed an internet service that would work well within the confines of its existing infrastructure but also service its diverse guest portfolio.
We used our strong technical understanding along with our acute knowledge of the hospitality industry to deploy our proprietary internet gateway. Utilising many elements of the hotel’s existing infrastructure, disruption to staff and guests was avoided. The new internet gateway solution allows the Old Hall Hotel to offer its guests fast and easy ways to access the net while also allowing it to gather intelligence on guest demographic to generate and focus future marketing strategies and campaigns.

Eastleigh Business Centre (Wessex House) is a council run business centre in Hampshire letting office space to small businesses with varying requirements for broadband and telephony. Historically there was no central provision, the tenants independently sourced their own solutions.
Stickman initially won a tender to undertake a consultation exercise on the implementation of a centralised solution, which included a detailed study and report on the cabling, connectivity and IT strategy for the site and the financial and commercial considerations of reselling telecoms and connectivity to tenants. Stickman then assisted with project management of site contractors.
Our MESH broadband management solution was installed to the site and Stickman worked with individual tenants to move them over to the new faster broadband line, and kick start a revenue stream for the council. Initially, a third party provider was appointed to deliver the telephony solution using the network infrastructure created by MESH, but in 2015 the telephony contract was moved to Stickman allowing us to introduce our MESH Voice solution to the site.
We managed the migration of the telephony service, porting of the DDI numbers from the (uncooperative) incumbent provider and remote reconfiguration of the handsets. A number of issues with the telephony were resolved as part of this and the site has become more profitable for the operator, with significantly less telephony issues.
